If your pool table has a rip or tear caused by an accident or just long-term wear, the entire slate bed must be recovered or ‘re-clothed’. Whilst recovering the bed of the table, it’s normal to recover the rubber cushions at the same time.

Our Pool Table Cloth
We use only high-quality Strachan & Hainsworth cloths – both are manufactured in England. When deciding to have your pool table recovered, you will need to decide which type of cloth to choose. Both types of cloth are around the same price, however you should consider whether you prefer the slower response of traditional wool cloth, or the fast playing surface of American-style ‘speed’ cloth, which is also far more hard wearing.

- We only use the highest quality cloths – Strachan 777 & 6811 Hainsworth Smart & Match (Hainsworth club cloth is very cheaply made cloth so we don’t use it)
Speed cloth
- Originally used for American pool tables, now a popular choice for all types of table
- Worsted wool, has no nap
- Fast playing action
- A popular choice due to being very hard wearing
- We use Strachan super pro cloth – we can fit Hainsworth elite pro as there are more colours available but the Strachan cloth is a much better quality.
How our pool table recover service works

- We’ll be in touch within one working day to find out more information about the table if we need it, and to confirm the time and date for the recover.We’ll visit at the arranged time to recover your pool table.
- We fit cloth on site, tables are cleaned and levelled on completion.
- The service usually takes around three hours, and afterwards the table will be ready to play on straight away.
